Some bank cards needs some special activation before it can be used for online cross currency international transaction. So, take a look at special activation procedure of some banks.
ICICI Bank
Previously cross currency transaction activation used to be done through calling the respective customer care of your state, but now ICICI Bank has made it even simpler. Now if you want to activate cross currency transaction on your VISA or MASTERCARD (VISA Preferred) debit card, you just have to sent an SMS from your bank registered mobile number as INTL to 5676766. If you do not get any conformation SMS for international usage activation after waiting for 3-4 days, please call the customer care and place a request of international usage manual activation on your card. Mention them that you have already sent this SMS but you didn’t get any activation conformation message. They will take your request and manually activate it.
ICICI Bank cards needs at least 4-5 days to successfully work in cross currency transaction after activation from the Bank. So wait for 4-5 days after you receive conformation that cross currency transaction has been activated on your card before trying to use it on any international sites.

Well, as I said earlier, it is not humanly possible for me to check every single bank card by my own. If your bank name is not listed above that means no user (including myself) has ever tested this card out. So the best option is to try to purchase things by using your cards in Google Wallet, PayPal and other places. If it works then please let me know in the Comment section below so that I can update the above list. If your card didn’t work, then also let me know in the comment, so other users can know about it.
